Turkey Dental Trip Planner

How many days you actually need in Turkey, how many appointments to expect, and how long the gap between the two trips normally is — worked out from your treatment.

A planning estimate. Your clinic sets the real schedule, and it can change once your scan has been read.

How to read the result

  • Book your flight home for the day after your last appointment, not the same day. Appointments overrun, and a swollen jaw is a poor travelling companion.
  • The gap between trips is decided by bone healing, not by convenience. Anyone offering to compress it should explain exactly what they are shortening.
  • Ask what is included before you book anything: hotel, airport transfers and translation are bundled by many clinics, and paying for them twice is a common and avoidable mistake.

Frequently asked questions

How many days do I need in Turkey for dental implants?

For a single implant, three to four days on the first trip is enough: consultation and scan, surgery, and a check before you fly. A full arch usually needs five to seven, because temporary teeth have to be made and fitted. The second trip, three to six months later, is normally four to seven days — longer than people expect, because the lab needs a few days between the impressions and the fitting of the final teeth.

Is it safe to fly after implant surgery?

Yes, and cabin pressure does not affect implants. The usual advice is to leave at least two to three days between surgery and a flight, mainly so that any bleeding has stopped and swelling has peaked and started to settle where a dentist can see you. After a sinus lift the advice is stricter — many surgeons ask for a week or more, and specifically ask you not to blow your nose during that period.

What should I ask a clinic before booking flights?

Five questions, all of which should get a straight answer in writing: which implant brand will be used; whether the quote includes the final restoration or only a temporary; what the guarantee covers and who pays for a return flight if something fails; how many days you need on each trip; and what happens to the price if the surgeon changes the plan after seeing the CT scan. A clinic that will not answer these before you book has told you something useful.

Why ask us for the quote

  • One enquiry, quotes from several vetted clinics — you compare, nobody pressures you.

  • Every clinic on our list holds a Turkish Ministry of Health licence and treats international patients.
  • You keep your language: we pass on which of the 12 languages you want to be answered in.
  • No fee to you, ever. Clinics pay us, and that is written on this page rather than hidden.
  • We are not a clinic and never treat anyone — so we have no reason to talk you into surgery.
